BEST RESTAURANT IN MANUEL ANTONIO NEW

We were in Manuel Antonio for our son's destination wedding. El Sol was highly recommended for the pre-wedding night dinner for 48 of us from all over the USA.
Every thing about the dinner far exceeded our expectations. Ronald Baldi the proprietor and manager made all the planning so easy. His staff set up a huge canopy on the roof giving us a spectacular view of the beach, bay, parasailors, and sunset. WOW! Everything from the music, the drinks, and the food was excellent. The staff are professional and simply wonderful. And we were really thrilled when Ronald brought his beautiful wife and charming son Austin so that we could enjoy meeting them.

On another night four of us went to El Sol for dinner. The staff (and Ronald) made certain that all our questions and needs were addressed quickly and professionally. (They all speak very fluent English). We started with a wonderful wine recommended by Ronald. The appetizers were tasty and arrived in the blink of an eye. Each of us had something different from the large menu which includes everything from local food to well known Costa Rican dishes to juicy steaks, chicken dishes and fabulous fresh seafood. Each entree` was beautifully prepared and simply delicious. The desserts are wonderful too. The prices are extremely reasonable for this level of quisine!

One day I snuck off from our party to have lunch at El Sol by myself. I got to talk with Ronald quite awhile and really enjoyed it. The restaurant and bar was open and breezy and very comfortable. I enjoyed a large local beer on tap and a huge burger that equaled any I have ever had in the states. There were six large flat screen tv's with sports action from around the world. In fact on Super Sunday they kindly tuned in the game from Levi's Stadium as the World Champion Denver Broncos tamed Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers.

In conclusion, we all recommend El Sol and Ronald as the number one Restaurant and Bar in Manuel Antonio for the food, atmosphere, excellent service and spectacular view.
